Category Management and Supplier Management:
• Responsible for managing outsourcing category strategies and portfolio of activities and responsible for delivering procurement KPIs, processes, tools, and activities in categories, and mitigate risk.

Responsible Sourcing: led development pro-actively & engage supply chain partners to specify and drove commodities sustainability programs for cacao, palm oil, soybean in line with the overall Fuji Global direction.
Supplier Development and Management:
• Conducted raw materials (cocoa, dairy, sugar, oil, etc.) markets research, developed supplier evaluation and selection mechanism, assessed supplier's qualification and capacity, and conducted price negotiation. Successfully developed and maintained over 40 direct suppliers and 100 indirect suppliers.
• Established supplier management system from 0, led suppliers' performance management and supplier competency development program to ensure suppliers meet company's requirements covering quality, capacity, flexibility, cost advantage, stability, compliance, etc. Involved suppliers in major development projects and in diversity of innovation projects.
Commercial Support: worked closely with sales team to offer market intelligence, collaboration and integration opportunities, to bring value creation to customers.
Team Management: responsible for daily operation and management of the team, developed workflow, set up training system and performance appraisal system, took charge of team member recruitment, training and performance appraisal.
Supplier Sourcing and Management: carried out new supplier sourcing for new materials and regular materials to ensure the supply capability and contingency. Managed over 10 suppliers covering contract management and renewal, cost control, quality and supply risk management, business review, etc.
Procurement Management: developed oversea and domestic dairy procurement strategy, spearheaded dairy category purchasing management to support the store demands for both permanent and promo items with annual purchase amount of RMB 1.7 billion.
Supplier Development: worked with the global / regional procurement teams to develop and implement Asia sourcing strategies, sourced qualified and world class suppliers including finished products, packaging materials, foods ingredients, Capex, services, etc., and performed supplier evaluation and selection. Successfully developed nearly 30 packaging and raw materials suppliers, and over 20 indirect suppliers.
Supplier Management: handled local & global suppliers’ relationship management and continuous improvement of all related suppliers’ performance. Developed and implemented local contract management, risk management, materials and VMI strategies.
Project Management: partnered with project team and suppliers for development, innovation & productivity projects, OEM projects, etc. Identified cost reduction opportunities, and drove saving via Jump start project. Successfully completed ice cream localization project with cost saving of 20-30%. Proactively reacted to demands fluctuation and change in business plan to stabilize supply and reduce product write off.
• Connected with global procurement managers to implement supply management strategy and plan on behalf of the team, identified and developed potential suppliers of foods ingredients based on supply in the next 2-3 years.
• Developed supplier capability to meet user business requirements. Maintained partnership with JBDP supplier, sought new potential opportunities, and supported each other for business growth.
• Responsible for Quaker co-packing purchasing, bargaining, contract management, daily operations management, etc. to ensure smooth production and avoid shortage. Successfully launched 2-3 new products every year.
• Maintained long-term strategic relationship with co-packer, continuously improved co-packers' performance in capacity, quality and service.
• Handled purchasing for Agro related materials (fertilizer, chemical, spare parts, etc.), developed indirect materials suppliers, and ensured the quality, service, and on-time delivery.
• Involved in purchasing process improvement, responsible for supplier sourcing and annual audit, raw materials procurement, inventory monitoring, cost control, team management, etc. Worked with Marketing, R&D, production and planning teams to make sure new product launch on time in full.
