Adept at leveraging academic research and teamwork, I significantly contributed to the development of a Vietnamese Chinese Character Multifunctional Database at Zhengzhou University. This project enhanced understanding of cultural history through innovative analysis, showcasing my ability to blend research and analysis with effective collaboration.
The postdoctoral project focuses on transmitting and varying Chinese characters to Vietnam within East Asia. This research adopts diachronic and synchronic perspectives to explore the changes that occurred in Chinese characters after their dissemination in Vietnam, including functional shifts, semantic evolutions, and other adaptations. A core objective of the project is the development of a comprehensive Vietnamese Chinese Character Multifunctional Database designed to provide a searchable platform for scholars to access information on Vietnamese Chinese characters, including their phonetic and semantic attributes and variant forms. Additionally, the project involves leveraging computational techniques and existing resources for data processing and analysis, supporting advanced field research.
