Ms. Rith Sopheakneath is a senior student at the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE), where she is pursuing a dual degree in law (LL.B.) with instruction in both Khmer and English, specializing in international commercial arbitration law.
Selected from a class of 51 students, Ms. Sopheakneath was chosen to be a part of the editorial team responsible for drafting the memorandum submitted to the prestigious Willem C. Vis Moot in Vienna. Her advocacy skills were recognized when she was awarded as the 3rd Best Oralist in the school round, which led to her representing RULE at the 21st Willem C. Vis East Moot in Hong Kong from March 10th to 17th, 2024, among 24 teams.
There, she contributed to winning an Honorable Mention for Best Memorandum among 144 teams worldwide. Additionally, Ms. Sopheakneath serves as an Executive Committee Member and Advisor for the Cambodia International Law Students Association (ILSA) and is a member of KAS-FLY at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
