I stumbled into yoga back in 2014, and little did I know that this practice would become such a deep, transformative part of my life. But everything changed in 2017 during my first hot yoga class—it was like coming home to myself. The heat, the intensity, the stillness—it all helped me reconnect with something I didn’t even realize was missing.
In the midst of the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic and the quiet joy of pregnancy, yoga became my sanctuary. It was my daily grounding force, a way to breathe deeply, and find peace in the most uncertain times. I practiced as my baby girl grew inside me, and through each stretch and breath, I felt more connected to her. It was a time of inner stillness that made me realize how truly powerful this practice is, not just for the body, but for the soul.
Before yoga, I was always on the move, working as a cabin crew member, constantly flying across time zones, and living a life on the go. Yoga taught me something I had never fully appreciated: how to slow down, how to breathe, and how to really feel—both in my body and in my heart. This gift of presence and inner peace became something too important to keep to myself, so I decided to share it with others.
In my journey as a yoga teacher, I’ve had the privilege of teaching in some truly unique places: Russia, UAE, and China. Each place taught me something different about the practice, the people, and the universal need for connection. In Russia, I learned the power of community, and the importance of patience in the process. Dubai introduced me to students from all walks of life, and I had the honor of witnessing the transformative effects that yoga had on people’s physical and mental well-being in such a vibrant, fast-paced city. In China, I was inspired by the discipline and mindfulness that run so deeply in the culture. I felt incredibly fortunate to be able to teach in these places, and with each class, I not only shared the physical practice of yoga, but also the deeper philosophies that have helped me navigate life’s challenges.
Now, as a teacher, I get to help others find their own peace, their own grounding—just like I did. It’s not just about the poses or the flow; it’s about building a deeper connection to yourself and the world around you. And sometimes, I even have the joy of practicing alongside my daughter. Watching her grow and find her own little moments of peace during our sessions is the greatest reward I could ask for. ✨
Yoga has taught me so much about healing, love, and what it means to truly be present. It’s not just a physical practice—it’s a practice of connection, awareness, and cultivating the kind of love that makes us feel at home within ourselves. I’m deeply grateful for the chance to share this with others, and to continue learning from this beautiful, transformative journey every single day. 💛
