Project Experience

Indian Liver Disease by Using Bayesian Inference

Individual Project                     November 2023 - December 2023

  • In a data analysis project studying Indian liver disease patients, utilized R for data cleaning, and modeled sample data based on a logistic regression model. Generated a posterior distribution with 5000 iterations using the Markov Chain Monte Carlo algorithm (Gibbs sampling).
  • During the exploratory data analysis phase of the project, optimized the data model and identified key factors affecting liver disease diagnosis in patients through the visualization of the posterior distribution (MCMC trace plots, marginal plots, and credible interval plots).
  • The Bayesian inference-optimized model improved the accuracy of liver disease diagnosis in patients by 10% and increased efficiency by approximately 30%


QVC Database Design and Data Analysis
