I primarily specialize in both clinical and basic research on heart diseases, with a primary focus on myocardial remodeling in heart failure and mitochondrial function. Currently, my research is heavily concentrated on exploring the mechanisms related to mitochondrial copper metabolism and its association with cardiac hypertrophy. Additionally, I am keenly interested in bioinformatics and clinical database analysis. In recognition of my contributions, I was awarded the ACC-FIT title by the American College of Cardiology (ACC) in 2018.
